A little about Cozam Creations
Cozam Creations is a small artisan business situated in Somerset. Creating beautiful and unique handmade jewellery and home decoration, with love and flair. Mainly of wire but much more too, and often a little quirky. Grown from what was a hobby creating jewellery, to what is now a small business, my business, one I am extremely proud of..
Over the years with an ever increasing selection of jewellery and crafts created, and the encouragement and support from family and friends, I made steps to showcase my designs for others to see, and hopefully sell. The steps were small to start with, though felt huge, as well as exciting, and my confidence grew from each sale, comment and love received. As well as seeing my jewellery worn, which is really amazing, as so, to see your own designs on show. I still pinch myself, and smile lots.
Whilst I've got your attention, I'd just like to say, thank you to each and everyone who has been with me on my journey, at any time, and continues to be. All your support very much appreciated., and mean a lot to me
Meet the Maker
So, who is the I, my, you may ask, well that’s me, Corrie. A wife, Mum, and Nanny too, something which is so precious to me. I’m also an artist, a creator and crafter. I love to design special somethings and bring them to life. And it seems, I have a flair for it… and if you know me, you know I don’t say so, so easily about myself but I’m learning to!
Having always been crafty it’s not a surprise this is the path I’ve taken. It seems creating is in my blood, and, is at times my sanity! As life took, well forced a change in direction when ill health stopped me in my tracks. I’m now an ME/CFS warrior, thankful I can still create, although frustratingly only as and when able, and run my little dream.
Cozams Inspiration and Designs
My designs are often said are unusual and quirky, which is just as I like, and I'm asked why. Well I love the different and unusual which lis what inspired me to create my designs. Life and environment plays into each, emotions, I tend to speak with my hands!
I work with a variety of materials, and their different forms, such as glass, metal, gemstones to name a few. Also the little unusual, with washers and the likes, as well as finds found. I like to create, at least try to, with almost anything. So too mixing everything up, or together, along with skills and techniques learnt.
A love of wire work has led my creations in the direction of wire craft too. Designing a selection of wire decorations for your home and garden. So too, incorporating the otherwise thrown away, I like that I can upcycle and repurpose, there’s a challenge to it.
All these elements give me many a thought for designing and creating that special piece, a one of a kind. Be it an accessory or decoration, for a gift or thank you, a treat for loved ones, friends, or yourself. Who doesn’t love a little sparkle, a special little something.
As you’ve probably gathered l enjoy, as well as love to create, especially the quirky or unexpected designs. I hope you love my special little somethings too and they bring you a smile, as much as they do me.
